Isn't it amazing what a camera can capture that is blind to the human eye? A longer shutter speed slows stars & produces this...Swirls! Did you know that stars can move as fast as 500 kilometers per second? That one star streak that is 'out of its turn' is actually a shooting star.
Raining stars at an abandoned gas station
Photographed during a very dark night. I used off camera flashes to illuminate the gas pumps; exposed camera longer to capture the star trails (raining stars) and car trails (red horizontal light streaks).
Although photographed in Miami, this feels very "small town"
